German-Baltic Conference Riga 2025

The German-Baltic Conference (GBC) is our annual flagship event, this year taking place in Riga from October 16–19, 2025. It brings together young people from Europe, especially Germany and the Baltic States, to engage in policy-making, international dialogue, and networking.

The 2025 Theme: Rethinking Security Through Youth.

Participants join as Youth Ambassadors, working in three thematic Clusters to develop a policy paper that will be shared with policymakers at EU level. The open call for Youth Ambassadors starts July 1.

In parallel, the German-Baltic Youth Exchange Network (GBYEN) will gather youth organization representatives from Germany, the Baltics, Ukraine, and wider Europe to collaborate on regional and global challenges.

Young Journalists, selected via an open call also launching July 1, will report on the event.
