Country Office Germany

Who we are and what we do

The German regional office of the German-Baltic Future Foundation is intensively committed to cultural, social and academic exchange between Germany, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Our common basis is the goals and values of the EU, which serve as a unifying element. We regularly organize events that bring people from different backgrounds together and promote intercultural dialogue. In addition, we work closely with the German-Baltic Youth Exchange Network (GBYEN), which links German and Baltic organizations and institutions. If you are interested in working together or if we can support you with networking in the Baltic States, we look forward to hearing from you!

Linus Kühl

Head

My name is Linus and I am delighted that you are interested in the German-Baltic Future Foundation! My focus on international logistics management and my academic background in corporate performance management have shown me the importance of good intra-European cooperation and networking. In addition to my research focus on Supply Chain Resilience & Big Data, I am also a certified auditor for management systems. I am very pleased to be able to contribute to better intra-European networking in this way!
Gleb Konkin - von Serebrowski

My name is Gleb Konkin-von Serebrowski and I volunteer for the DBJW since 2024 as a Chief of Young Ambassadors in Germany. I am a visual artist, poet and a historical researcher. 2008, I was trained as a forensic archaeologist and have been working voluntarily in the areas of reburial and historical research ever since. Since 2017, I have been presenting my artistic work in exhibitions in public and private spaces. Recently I have been increasingly involved in Baltic and Ukrainian initiatives, cultural exchange and in strengthening and preserving these beautiful countries and their cultural heritage.

I am passionate about international cooperation and intercultural exchange, which is why I am excited to be part of the German Country Office. Through my work, I look forward to contributing to meaningful projects that strengthen the ties between Germany and the Baltic States and foster dialogue across borders.
Emil Oldekop

Employee

Hey, I'm Emil, I'm from Berlin and I recently started studying physics in Copenhagen. Ever since I spent a year abroad in Canada during my school years and especially now that I live abroad, networking and cultural exchange have become very important to me. A strong Europe and a strong Germany thrive on this exchange and I am very happy to be able to make my contribution to this as part of the German-Baltic Future Foundation.
