The German-Baltic Future Foundation (dbjw) promotes exchange and understanding among young adults from Germany, the Baltic states, and Ukraine, based on the principles of the rule of law, democracy, and human rights. To this end, its regional offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Germany organize seminars, congresses, and conferences; arrange internships; award training loans and scholarships; and expand the German-Baltic Youth Exchange Network (GBYEN), among other initiatives.
We are looking for a volunteer project assistant in our internship department to manage and promote our internship portal.
This includes the following tasks:
• Promoting the database to organizations to collect internship offers
• Promoting the database to high school students, college students, and graduates
• Maintaining and managing the database
• Coordinating with the Foundation’s regional offices
While some prior experience in database management is desirable for this role, it is not mandatory. Additionally, a structured approach to work, strong communication skills, proficiency in German and English, and a willingness to volunteer are advantageous.
We look forward to receiving detailed applications (a short letter of motivation, CV, and any additional supporting documents) by March 31, 2026, via email to Executive Director Tatjana Vollers (t.vollers.dbjw@deutsch-balten.de).
