A joint initiative of the DBJW Country Office in Lithuania and the Department of Philology at Vilnius University.
Seminars and Workshops on exciting topics in Lithuanian schools.

The goal of the project is to offer schools in Lithuania that teach German an exciting and informative program on relations between Lithuania and Germany—particularly in the areas of politics, economics, entrepreneurship, and culture.
The program consists of two parts. In the first part, students gain insights into study opportunities and career prospects with the German language. They also learn about the activities of the Chair of German Philology at Vilnius University and the German-Baltic Future Foundation. An interactive game on German-Lithuanian relations and well-known German brands offers an entertaining way to deepen their knowledge. Current offers and projects for young people are also presented.
In the second part of the meeting, Laurita Markevičiūtė-Zakarevičė, an expert on German-Lithuanian relations, conducts a seminar. The seminar examines the relations between Germany and Lithuania from a political, diplomatic, and economic perspective and discusses current developments.
German teachers who are interested in inviting this initiative to their school are welcome to contact us by email at d.katinas.dbjw@deutsch-balten.de.
The organizing team will then contact you to discuss the next steps.
We look forward to meeting students and teachers who are interested in the German language and hope for an inspiring and lasting collaboration.
