About the Conference
Every year, the German-Baltic Conference (GBC) brings together young talents, thought leaders, and decision-makers from Germany and the Baltic states to actively shape the future of Europe.

Current European Issues – Conceived, Discussed, and Further Developed by Tomorrow’s Decision-Makers
The focus is on current topics such as security, digitalization, and international cooperation.
Rather than merely discussing issues, the conference emphasizes active participation: Working in interdisciplinary teams (clusters), participants develop concrete ideas and policy approaches with real-world relevance. This generates momentum that extends beyond the event itself. At the same time, the conference offers a space for exchange, new perspectives, and a strong international network - for everyone who not only wants to understand Europe but also wants to help shape it.
The conference takes place every October and is held alternately in one of the three Baltic states: Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.

... heard by Decision-Makers.
The German-Baltic Conference is more than just a forum for exchange - it is designed to make a real impact. The policy recommendations developed are specifically presented to national and international decision-makers from the political sphere and various institutions. In this way, the ideas are not only heard but also actively incorporated into political discussions and decision-making processes.
