The Ambassador Program of the German-Baltic Future Foundation enters the second round!
We are again looking for motivated individuals to act as advocates for our foundation and to cultivate our growing community. The German-Baltic Future Foundation is committed to a free, democratic Europe and, in particular, to the exchange and cooperation between Germany and the Baltic states. For this, we are seeking ambassadors to support our work and contribute in their respective fields through cool projects or simply by spreading the word!
What is the ambassador program about?
The ambassadorship runs for the duration of 1 year (September – September). Throughout this year, ambassadors will connect with each other and the foundation. They will work on projects and activities in their respective fields representing the German-Baltic Future Foundation.

Who can apply?
This program is for everyone who would like to contribute to a more united, democratic, peaceful Europe, regardless of age, gender, or origin. The only two prerequisites: You should resonate with the foundation and speak English (at least B2)!
The following characteristics underline your qualification:
Openness, empathy & respect: We stand for tolerance, empathy, and courage - working together, giving people a voice, and growing together. Ambassadors serve as role models for these values.
We value interests and involvement in youth work, other networks, education, politics, journalism, and public relations, as well as fields like digitalisation, languages, art, history, or defense.
Proactivity, communication skills & availability.
Since we are the “German-Baltic Future Foundation” we appreciate according relation such as origin, spoken language, or a semester abroad, but it’s certainly not a must!
Potential Tasks and Activities for Ambassadors:
As ambassador you can pursue a wide range of projects and activities depending on your personal background, interests, and experiences. The overarching goal should always be to promote the foundation’s vision and missions for a more united Europe. but how you do it, is up to you – you can follow your own ideas and create your own journey!
You are into photography? Fine – start a photo series sharing a cool story!
You are in politics/ academia? Awesome - Write a paper on a European or even German-Baltic topic!
You are in youth work? Great – Organize a cool event in your area!
You can work on projects alone, as a team, or also with the foundation. Sometimes, the foundation will also ask you to contribute to their projects and events.

Benefits for Ambassadors:
Ambassadors are featured on the foundation’s website, gaining public recognition for their commitment. They enjoy exclusive access to the foundation’s network, connecting with international stakeholders from education, youth work, politics, government, the military, and business. Ambassadors can take part in continuing education programs, such as leadership or project management, and receive special privileges at foundation events. Their activities earn them points, which can be redeemed for merchandise.
After completing the one-year program, they receive an official letter of recognition by the foundation.
